The Seattle Fire Buff Society is a non-profit group that supports the Seattle Fire Department and the surrounding area by operating a Rehab/Canteen service on scene during fire fighting or other fire department emergencies. The society publishes a monthly newsletter. "The Alerter" to keep members informed on current events of the group. The society is also interested in preserving the rich and valued history of the Seattle Fire Department. The members meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM location will be held at Fire Station 14. 3224 4th Ave A #1917, Seattle, Washington

I finally got a 2019 catch of Seattle Fire’s Rescue 1 responding! This was a “Rescue Standby” call for a man in crisis who was hanging out of a 5th story window. Officers on scene were eventually able to talk the man back inside. Units on the call: Engine 18, Battalion 4, Rescue 1, Aid
