The Seattle Police Department says they are conducting a death investigation as of Saturday evening, after a middle-aged man died near the Freeway Park alongside the Seattle Convention Center.
SPD confirms that just after 6:20 p.m., they responded to a report of a man who was down and bleeding near Union Street and Convention Place.
Upon arrival, they found him with “obvious head trauma”.
Officers tried CPR before the Seattle Fire Department picked up life-saving efforts. They ultimately declared the man dead at the scene.
