INCIDENT DESCRIPTION
At 6:52 pm on May 5, 2025, the Seattle Fire Department responded to a reported building fire in the 2000 block of Boren Avenue in downtown Seattle. The reporting party reported a fire on a fifth story balcony. Looking at images of the building, I believe this was on a large rooftop balcony. No smoke was visible on arrival, and two ladder trucks deployed aerial ladders. Crews found a fire inside the balcony near a gas fire pit and extinguished it with a pre-connect hose. Ventilation was not required and crews did not have to search the building. No injuries were reported. The incident lasted one hour and twelve minutes.

MY NOTES
Got this one out quick! The audio is also synced more closely, since I’ve factored in latency from the video stream. Be sure to check out my photography website since there are a lot of events that I’ll be attending these next couple months.

WTCR seeks to highlight the everyday operations of first responders in several major Washington state cities, as seen from public traffic cameras. This channel focuses on their actions, responses, and of course their shiny trucks. WTCR is not monetized.
Thanks for watching! These descriptions sure take a long time to write…
