On June 1st, 2023, Seattle Fire units responded to a fire in a three-story commercial building in Columbia City (south Seattle). The incident was upgraded to a two-alarm fire, bringing additional resources to the scene.

This video is at 20x speed, and features many Seattle Fire engines, trucks and support units responding. Smoke from the fire is also (barely) visible in the upper left corner of the screen. The music used is titled “Jon’s on Fire,” but there were no injuries associated with this incident.

This is a bit of a throw-back, as my very first traffic camera video posted was a time lapse, way back in 2016. That video was originally posted to my fire buffing channel, and was reuploaded to this channel a few years later, when I decided to make a dedicated traffic camera channel. Old video is here: https://youtu.be/7NwNaLAhdU4

Pictures are from Seattle Fire, and can be found on their Twitter and Fireline blog. The blog, with more details about the fire, is here: https://fireline.seattle.gov/2023/06/01/2-alarm-fire-in-the-columbia-city-neighborhood/

I’m hoping to have a longer video posted this weekend, so stay tuned!
