Mark Schroder and his family joins the Port of Seattle Fire Department for a heartfelt thank you for their part in saving his life and to talk about the importance of AEDs and bystander CPR.

On his way home from the airport on January 2nd, 2023 Mark suffered a cardiac episode on the Arrivals Drive. Bystanders and Port of Seattle Police Officers stepped in to use one of the 300 AED devices at SEA and performed CPR until the Port of Seattle Fire Department and King County medics arrived.
