I have to thank the Lakewood Fire Department and their crew for allowing me to set this event up for a photography group I’m in. They were gracious enough to allow our members to come by and watch them work and actually to try out their gear!

The Seattle Flickr Meetup Group made their way down south to Tacoma’s Lakewood Fire Department and got to experience being a fire fighter for the day!

What a fun day of learning what our great Firefighters do, protecting our homes and us. It is not everyday that they do this and allow the public to participate. I truly am grateful to them.
