Mayor Jenny A. Durkan and representatives from Seattle Police Department and Seattle Fire Department discuss escalated incidents during today’s demonstrations, the Emergency Orders, and the 5:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. curfew order. Durkan issued two Emergency Orders, effective immediately in the City of Seattle including an Order declaring a Proclamation of Civil Emergency and an Order banning weapons, both formal and informal.
