Horseback riding results in more serious injuries and fatalities than many other high-impact or extreme activities. This video series from The Sports Institute at UW Medicine gives riders, bystanders, show officials, volunteers, and EMS personnel a practical guide to responding when a rider goes down.

The modules cover everything from a bystander calling 911 on a remote trail to EMS performing technical rescues at water jumps, ditch jumps, and competition arenas. Until now, this information has not existed in a cohesive way.
