Seattle Police Investigating After Murdered Employee Found Inside Growler Guys In Lake City

Washington authorities say employees found a deceased co-worker inside Growler Guys when they arrived to work on Saturday morning.

On May 9, 2026, officers with the Seattle Police Department were dispatched to Growler Guys at 8500 Lake City Way NE to investigate a report of a deceased male.

At the scene, officers located a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Seattle Fire Department responded to the scene and pronounced the man deceased.

The man has reportedly been identified as an employee who worked closing on Friday night.

There are no suspects at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
