Puget Sound Energy later secured the leak, with officials saying the response would be scaled back. No injuries were immediately reported. The incident affected transit, with Link light rail service suspended between Mount Baker and Rainier Beach stations and riders advised to expect delays. Light rail service resumed normal operation around 3and49 p.m.
