Dr. Kira Gressman, a UW Emergency Medicine resident, is leading a quality improvement project to strengthen Seattle’s innovative pre-hospital buprenorphine program.

Through Health 99, Gressman helped shape clinical protocols, train EMS teams, and develop tools like the Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale for field use, ensuring safer, more effective care for people experiencing overdose.
