INCIDENT DESCRIPTION
At approximately 6:22 am on December 25, 2025, Engine 25 was dispatched as a single unit to 816 E Pike Street for a report of smoke coming from a vent. Engine 25 arrived and soon requested Ladder 10 from the same fire station after finding the fire alarm activated. When flames suddenly appeared from the building, the incident was upgraded to a full structure fire response. The fire was knocked down by Engine 25, and other crews conducted searches and overhaul operations. There were no reported injuries. The restaurant a/stir at 818 E Pike sustained damage but was able to reopen the following day, as was Cinnaholic, the primary business affected. Though there has not been an official statement, both businesses say it was intentionally set. SFD Marshal 5 responded to the scene for an investigation.

WTCR seeks to highlight the everyday operations of first responders in several major Washington state cities, as seen from public traffic cameras. This channel focuses on their actions, responses, and of course their shiny trucks. WTCR is not monetized.

Thanks for watching! These descriptions sure take a long time to write…
