Larry Winkler and Johnny Bell have been teaching bystander CPR for Seattle Fire’s Medic 2 program for most of the program’s existence.

Now in its 53rd year, we estimate Medic 2 instructors have taught more than 1 million residents. Johnny and Larry have certainly conducted many of those classes.

We could not think of two better people to receive Seattle Fire’s Community Service Award.
