INCIDENT DESCRIPTION
At 10:12 am on January 14, 2025, the Seattle Fire Department responded to the 2100 block of 2nd Avenue in downtown Seattle for an emergency call that was upgraded to a major natural gas leak. A valve had somehow allowed natural gas to leak. The building was evacuated. Puget Sound Energy either had a quick response time or were already on scene and shut the valve, sealing the leak. Most units were cleared, and the incident lasted forty-seven minutes.

WTCR seeks to highlight the everyday operations of first responders in several major Washington state cities, as seen from public traffic cameras. This channel focuses on their actions, responses, and of course their shiny trucks. WTCR is not monetized.
Thanks for watching! These descriptions sure take a long time to write…
