An anxious Alaska Airlines passenger opened an emergency exit and climbed onto the wing of a plane after landing at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Sunday.

According to Perry Cooper, Media Relations Manager for SEA, the woman, who became “anxious” while remaining on board after other passengers had exited, opened the emergency door and climbed onto the wing.

The Port of Seattle Fire Department responded promptly at around 5 p.m., assisting the woman down a ramp to the ground. Flight data indicates the plane had landed just minutes earlier, at 4:48 p.m.
