INCIDENT DESCRIPTION
At 4:34 pm on July 7, 2024, the Seattle Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 1207 Westlake Avenue N, at the Westlake Steps apartment complex, with a report of a roof fire above the ninth floor. Engine 2 and Ladder 4 from Belltown were first on scene, and observed light smoke from the roof.

0;53 – E9: Dispatch, Engine 9 is gonna be delayed, Fremont Bridge is up. (drawbridge)
0;57 – Dispatch: Okay Engine 9.
1;02 – E2: Engine 2 and Ladder 4 are at, 1207 Westlake North, got light smoke from the roof. Engine 2, Ladder 4 investigating, will be Westlake Command. Low-rise SOG. (standard operating guideline)
1;19 – Dispatch: Engine 2 at location, light smoke from the roof, investigating, low-rise SOG in effect, Engine 2 is Westlake Command.
1;26 – L6: Ladder 6 is at, second (ladder) truck, split (crew)
1;32 – E8: Engine 8 is at, on a hydrant.
