Dozens of people are moving into temporary housing after a devastating fire at a tiny home village in Seattle.

Seattle Fire says the flames spread to 17 tiny homes, displacing a total of 28 people.

Resident Shantell Welker lived at this tiny home village in Interbay for about six months until the fire ripped through the complex. She said she escaped her tiny home as the structure was burning.

With a history of homelessness for seven years of her life, this tragedy was a gut punch as she once again found herself without a home.
