AUDIO
This is real audio from SFD Channel 1 from the incident. It is important to know that the audio is not very synced with video. In reality, the audio was spread across 5 minutes rather than just two. Some audio clips are cut out.
0;00 – Dispatch: This is report of a derelict house, mid-block, hydrant… we’re not sure if this is the exact address, this is a guess on the address, give us a corrected address when you get there.
0;20 – E11: …working fire, we’re in need of a supply (hydrant), derelict SOG’s (standard operating guideline) in effect, establishing 18 Avenue Command.
0;29 – Dispatch: Engine 11 at, working fire, derelict SOG in effect, 18 Avenue Command, need a supply.
0;37 – E11?: We have fire in the basement of a one story- one-and-a-half story plus basement, Engine 11 is laying a pre-connect (hose) to the charlie (rear) side, basement door. Derelict SOG’s in effect.
0;50 – B7: Battalion 7 is at location, I’m assuming 18 Avenue Command, command post is gonna be on 18 Avenue Southwest, just in front of Engine 11, at the buggy (B7 vehicle). Stable incident, multiple inch-and-three-quarters (1 3/4 diameter hose) fire.
1;06 – 18th Avenue Command (B7): Ladder 13, affirmative on your assignment, alpha and bravo, soften the structure. The house is a no-entry zone.
1;18 – L13: Command, Ladder 13, we’ve gained access to floor one, front door, some moderate smoke but not a lot of heat, we shut the door.
1;28 – Command (B7): Okay, I understand you’ve gained access to floor one, we’re still gonna stay exterior, the building is still a no-entry zone, we’ll continue to soften.
