In the aftermath of several recent fires at vacant buildings in Seattle, KOMO News discovered that 40 derelict structures are currently deemed as “dangerous” by both the Seattle Fire Department and the Seattle City Attorney.

KOMO News obtained the list of dangerous structures through a public disclosure request with the City of Seattle. As part of the data, only three of the 40 structures are currently in the mode of being torn down.
