INCIDENT DESCRIPTION
At 9:40 pm on November 5, 2023, the Seattle Fire Department responded to a rescue extrication incident at Rainier Ave. S and S Alaska St. for reports of a vehicle on its roof. Engine 28 was the first unit on scene at approximately 9:43 pm, and that is where this video begins. Engine 30 was the next company on scene, and they park strategically to block the scene. Ladder 12 and Battalion 5 also arrived soon after. Engine 28 also pulled a fire hose in case the car caught fire. The single patient was extricated just after SFD’s heavy rescue team arrived on scene, and AMR transported the patient in stable condition. The incident lasted twenty minutes.

BEHIND THE SCENES
This is the first of a new video type for me! UNCUT FOOTAGE videos will be on scene videos that work better in a long format like this one. Next up, I think I will post the full Mercer Street encampment fire from a few months ago.
