On October 8th 2023, I filmed several Seattle Fire units responding to a boat fire in Magnolia, just south of the ship canal. The boat ended up being on land, and the fire was quickly extinguished, so most units were put back in service.

This was about 3 miles away from me so I knew I’d miss most of the units, but I was hoping to get at least Rescue 1 and Marine 1. Unfortunately, Rescue 1 was cancelled just before it reached me and Marine 1 was cancelled while still en route.

I did get Engine 26 and Air 26, which was a nice surprise. Thanks for the waves from the E26 driver and officer!!

Still figuring out the new video editing software so the transitions are kind of wonky, but it’s getting there…
