Complete this exercise using a Safety Squat Bar (SSB). The SSB shown here is called a Transformer Bar (designed by Kabuki Strength).
Key Points:
1) While keeping a strong core, step forward into a lunge position
2) The feet should start and remain hip width apart as you complete the movement
3) The torso and back leg should form a straight line (shoulder to knee), with a slightly forward lean
4) The back knee should hover above the ground approximately 1-3 inches (don’t touch the ground)
5) The front knee should be in line with the front foot
6) Push off the front leg and return to the starting position
7) Repeat either on the same side or in an alternating fashion
