I had great luck today, despite some early glitches, and caught both Marine 80 and Rescue 1 plus a handful of other units! For some reason Pulse Point didn’t notify me about this one, and Twitter was over ten minutes late, so I missed most of the responding units.

Despite that, I was still able to catch Marine 80, which is a super rare unit! I’ve only seen them once before and it was a distant view, so this was way better. I also got Rescue 1, which is always a joy to see.

This call was for an electrical fire onboard a docked sailboat, which was quickly knocked down. Marine 1, which usually responds to boat emergencies, must have been out of service today.

I haven’t gotten a new camera yet, and I don’t fully trust my current camera, so a few of these clips were filmed on both my camera and my phone.

Clip listing:
0:00 – Ladder 5 arriving
0:07 – Medic 17 arriving, while Engines 17 and 31 reposition
0:39 Safety 2 and Deputy 1 responding
1:00 – Rescue 1 responding
1:16 – Engine 36 and Staff 10 responding
1:33 – Marine 80 responding
2:15 – SFD units on scene
2:38 – Port of Seattle police on scene
2:54 – SFD and Port of Seattle on scene
3:21 – Outro

Outro music: Demilitarized Zone by Ethan Meixsell, via the YouTube audio library.
