INCIDENT DESCRIPTION
An “aid car” is unique to Western Washington in describing a BLS ambulance. Despite the name, it’s an ambulance, not a car. In other departments such as in neighboring Kitsap County, aid cars transport patients, but more often in Seattle, AMR transports instead of aid cars.

BEHIND THE SCENES
This is something I’ve been working on for quite a while, mostly waiting to get Aid 14. Although there are less Type III ambulances now, there are still a few out there which is nice because it mixes things up!
