Ride along with Aerial Tower 1 of the Chicago fire department responding to a bin fire just one block away. Normally only an engine would attend that kind of call but because it was close to the fire house and the engine was already out they sent the closest available engine and also this truck. Note that AT1 does not carry any water. AT1 is housed with engine 1 and ambulance 41 in south downtown. Aerial Tower is the only unit of that kind in the city. All the other aerial units are regular trucks or platforms.
Mitfahrt auf Leiter 1 der Feuerwehr Chicago zu einem Mülleimerbrand. Normalerweise fährt zu solch einem Einsatz lediglich ein Löschfahrzeug. Da das LF der Wache aber bereits raus war und der Einsatz direkt um die Wache war wurde zusätzlich zum nächst verfügbaren LF ebenfalls die Leiter geschickt. Da die DL kein Wassertank hat nahmen die Kollegen kurzerhand eine volle Kübelspritze mit. Leiter 1 teilt sich die Wache mit Löschfahrzeug 1 und Rettungswagen 41.
