Two people were injured in a drive-by shooting near Alki Beach in West Seattle Monday night, according to the Seattle Police Department (SPD).

Seattle police said officers responded to reports of a shooting near Alki Avenue Southwest and 62nd Avenue Southwest around 10:10 p.m. Monday.

When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman who had been shot. The SPD said both victims were 37 years old.

Seattle Fire Department medics responded to the scene and took both shooting victims to Harborview Medical Center. Seattle police said the man was in stable condition when he was taken to Harborview, and the woman was in serious condition.
