On July 25th 2022, I recorded footage of Seattle Fire units heading to fire on the roof of a townhouse in north Seattle. The fire was quickly knocked down, and the call was downgraded to a 2+1+1.

People I spoke to on the scene said they heard a loud explosion prior to the fire – listening to the scanner afterwards, it sounds like something went very wrong with a BBQ.

While I scene, I saw Ladder 8 start to put up their ladder. However, units on the roof said it wasn’t needed so they put it back down.

Huge thanks to the firefighter who said “hi” and that he likes my channel – you made my day!
