1.20.2021 9:50 PM| KATY – Cy Fair Fire responded to reports of an explosion and house fire. Arriving companies located a single family residence with heavy fire showing from the front of the home. 1 resident was outside and reported that her husband and daughter were still inside. Firefighters went into rescue mode, and located both male (father) and female (daughter). Firefighters began performing CPR on both after rescuing them from the burning home. Cy Fair FD Medics’s and firefighters got signs of life back on both father and daughter, and they were transported to nearby trauma centers in critical condition. Neighbor says that the father just turned 68, (birthday was on December 9th)
