As temperatures are once again going down at night, warming shelters are opening up. Almost every county has declared some sort of weather emergency. Susalla is taking advantage of the warmth of the Tacoma Rescue Mission preparing for another cold night in her van.

The Seattle Fire Department launched an investigation after a noose was found inside of a Bitter Lake fire station.

A 38-year-old woman who was attacked and dragged by a pitbull and a pitbull mix a day earlier was upgraded from critical condition to serious Wednesday but remains in the Intensive Care Unit at Harborview Medical Center as residents in the Auburn neighborhood expressed anger and outrage over what happened.
