On November 3rd, 2021, I filmed Seattle Police and Fire units responding to a rescue extrication call in north Seattle. There were two vehicles involved, and one patient was briefly trapped; they were extricated just after Rescue 1 arrived, and most units were put back into service shortly after arrival.

I did miss out on Medic 32 and Medic 44 – if I would have waited 5 more minutes I would have gotten them arriving on scene, but it was starting to rain harder and I didn’t think to check pulsepoint since I saw E21 & R1 leaving. Ah well, amateur mistake, I’ll remember it next time.

Clip listing:
0:00 – Engine 35 responding (my running was too slow to get a good shot)
0:14 – Seattle Police unit responding with SFD’s Safety 2
0:37 – Rescue 1 and Aid 14 responding
1:03 – On-scene footage
1:17 – E21 clearing the scene
1:35 – Cars getting turned around; the poor VW high centers on a cinder block
2:27 – Outro

Outro music: Demilitarized Zone by Ethan Meixsell, via the YouTube audio library.
