Thirteen-year-old wish kid Konner has wanted to be a paramedic since he was just 4 years old. Make-A-Wish Hawaii and Konner’s family would like to thank Seattle Fire Department, Medic One, ‘Iolani School, Honolulu and Kauai EMS Departments, Ronald McDonald House Charities Washington & Alaska, Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children, Seattle Children’s Hospital and Emergency Airlift & Transport team, and all those who have been by Konner’s side throughout his journey and contributed to his wish come true.

Wish mom Heidi also extends a special thank you to Konner’s cousin, who so graciously donated his liver: “Your gift of life is so precious, and we will never forget what you did for Konner. I encourage people to Donate Life so others may continue to live full, productive lives.”
