On July 4th, 2018, the Seattle Fire Department responded to a large fire in a warehouse and auto salvage yard.

This video features footage from 3 different traffic cameras, as well as Seattle Fire radio traffic. This 20 minute video was edited from 70 minutes of footage.

Kiro 7 has extensive helicopter footage of the fire (heli footage starts about 5:40 into the news video) https://www.kiro7.com/news/local/large-plume-of-smoke-visible-from-seattle-s-sodo-area/783118625

Video highlights:
1:59 Three Battalion Chiefs arrive
2:39 Heavy flames showing from the building
4:06 Two engine companies arrive
4:57 Tiller truck (L3) arrives
5:30 Unmarked police SUV and King County Sheriff units arrive, followed closely by Air10.
7:13 Ladder 7 is seen repositioning
7:40 Second alarm is called
10:05 A pretty heated exchange between Aid 14 and the IC, possibly the result of comms trouble
13:01 Third alarm is called
13:55 Third alarm is cancelled by new IC, because the exposure building’s firewall is holding
16:00 L7 Alpha (officer?) decides to do recon from the roof of exposure building. He informs his division chief (Div Delta – B5) but the message doesn’t get to the IC (89). This can be seen in the Kiro video at 32:00
16:47 The IC tries to figure out who is on the roof of the building and why. To the commander’s credit, once L7 explains his reasoning and plan, the IC goes with it and establishes a rooftop division.
